- Background
The banking world is very dynamic, and probably more complex than those, not in the field, realize. It is carried out by a range of professionals in various divisions, such as investment, commercial and private banking. It requires a diversity of skills and talents, from those who have an aptitude for quantitative measures to those who have superb customer service skills. Plus completing a banking concentration as part of a Bachelor of Business Administration allows students to complete core courses to gain a deep understanding of business concepts across the board (including leadership). “…students are grounded in every key functional area of business through a core curriculum,” IST Burkinafaso’ BBA program. To receive a Bachelor Degree in Banking & Finance, a student must satisfactorily complete 180 credit hours, and Career Opportunities: Banking Professional – Credit Analyst – Banking Teller – Personal Financial Advisory – Loans Officer – Financial Analyst – Financial Controller – Risk Analyst – Broker – Investment Banker – Security Analyst.

This programme includes basic courses that provide a solid foundational knowledge of finance, as well as advanced-level courses that take our students deeper into the banking and finance fields, and give them the opportunity to specialize. Courses covering global capital markets equip students to meet the challenges of globalization. The programme enables our students to become effective and efficient bankers and financial analysts in their specialized areas. -Advanced Level Certificate of Education; Advanced Level Certificate of high school
-Diplomas in Business Administration and other related Management fields;
-GCE ‘A’ Level with two passes : or local Polytechnic Diploma; or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma; or NUS High School Diploma. Applicants with a Diploma from recognized institution , or other Diploma qualifications plus an acceptable score may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
